A summer tradition in Chipley, the Washington County, Florida county seat, the Panhandle Watermelon Festival is located on Hwy 90, just a few miles from Interstate 10 and an easy drive from anywhere in the Southeast. 

Held on the last full weekend in June, the Panhandle Watermelon Festival is a tradition in this historic southern town.
